The URSA Mini is available with either a 4K sensor or a new 4.6K sensor. There are more thorough overviews of the camera out there, but here are a few tidbits I picked up at the show: The URSA Mini they showed off at this year’s show is truly a mature, smart camera design. This year, Blackmagic showed that three years of making cameras has taught them a few things. The URSA is a 16+ pound behemoth covered in LCD displays everywhere but where you most need them, unless you’re doing the only thing I’ve ever seen anyone do with one, which is drop it on sticks and shoot at eye level. My list of gear i wish to have. When Blackmagic Design announced the URSA at last year’s NAB Show, I joked that they had finally created a “camera-shaped camera” - but that was before I saw one in person. would also order 2 barn doors to go with those. 2 with soft boxes and one with barn doors. What I'm looking for in a kit would be 3 lights. I NEED lighting! I have been looking every where for a good quality lighting kit for cheap. Kessler also makes great sliders so check em' out! They're used for smaller camera movement or when you don't have time to set up a track. A slider is basically a miniature dolly for your camera. I will for sure be looking into a tracked dolly in the near future! Last is a slider. I have a dolly for my tripod but that is more of a temporary set up. So, maybe in the future I will get one? Also, the make dollies. I have always wanted a crane system to get all those very cinematic shots you see in the movies. Thats the best part! You can personalize you rig how ever it best suits you! the rigs you can buy an be changed and added on to to make you rig work for you. I use RedRock because I believe their products are top of the line and they are always coming out with new gear to add to your rig. I personally use a Customized RedRock Micro Eyespy rig with a RedRock Follow Focus. One of my favorite things to do is to look at all the awesome equipment for filmmakers! The technology is so advanced and the gear you can get is endless! )Im still learning how to myself.) So till then, Thanks for Reading! ![]() In the future I'll go more in depth in how to make the video. This is more of an introduction into time lapse photography. SWEET! I just saved $200! This will take the photos for you! So There you have it! So after searching around the program I found Timer Shooting. So, I decided that could be risky.Īfter looking online for a while I realized that my Canon 7D came with software where I could operate my camera through my computer. I found a few timer remotes that say they do the same thing. So, I looked around for cheaper alternatives. For me, that was too much money, I'm saving for other Film equipment. I was looking online for a timer romote for my 7D, and I found one for around $200. What it is, is a remote that lets you set the time intervals you want the camera to take and press start and the remote will trigger the shutter according to the time intervals you set. Now, that's not the ideal way to take a time lapse. What you do is put you camera on a tripod point it to what ever you want to have you time lapse of and start taking pictures. ![]() All you need to do this is a steady tripod, your DSLR and A LOT of time! That's the bare essentials. That is a great example of what a time lapse video will look like. Thus, making the pictures seem like a movie. Time lapse photography is were a series of pictures are taken over X amount of time them played back at a faster speed. This weeks topic is time lapse photography. "Bipolar - A Narration of Manic Depression" Trailer I personally can't wait to see the full film! The trailer really grabbed my attention! I hope it's available online! The movie shows Andrew in both mental stages, to visualize that the splitscreen is used, on the left side you see the manic Andrew and at the same time on the right side you can see the depressive Andrew, and how he reacts to different events in both phases.īoth sides have different things to deal with, the manic Andrew has lots of energy and ideas, he doesn't require much sleep and in order to deal with his overage of energy he runs, the depressive Andrew is suffering from insomnia, is uncreative, non productive and in battle with his inner self. It follows a manic-depressive author called Andrew Gony. here's the overview of this film.īipolar is an experimental shortmovie, entirely shot in split screen. This film was Written & Directed by Daniel Ruczko. So, it counts? This film was shot on a Canon 5DMK2. It's not a Film but it is a trailer for a film. ![]() "Bipolar - A Narration of Manic Depression" Trailer.
